2011 Paperwork

The paperwork for 2011 is going out today. Be sure to fill it out completely and send it back to CTRH as soon as possible. The forms should be on our website by the end of the week.

Rusty Ball

Thank you to the Rusty Griswolds for putting on the Rusty Ball 2010. CTRH was lucky to be one of the beneficiaries of the event. Our silent auction item went for $200. We will also get a portion of the ticket price for every ticket sold in our name. It was a great event and a lot of fun. Make plans to attend next year. It's a great time for a great cause!

It's Fall at CTRH

It's finally Fall and everyone at CTRH is excited for some cooler temperatures. Session Five is in full swing and Session Six is almost full! Thanks to all the volunteers who continue to give their time and energy to help us provide programming to our amazing riders.

Laddy

I am sad to report that on Monday, July 26th, our 24 year old Quarter Horse, Laddy's Sunshine passed away. Laddy was a beloved part of the CTRH family and she will be greatly missed.

August 21st - Richard Thomas Annual Horse Show
Come out to CTRH to watch our riders compete in our 2nd annual show. We'll be grilling out, so bring your lunch money and enjoy the day. The show starts at 10:30am.

September 18th - CTRH Volleyball
Join us at the Sandbar on Kellogg for an afternoon of volleyball and Happy Hour drink prices. Admission is just $10 and 100% of the fee goes to CTRH. Please RSVP to Lexi at lext.ctrh@fuse.net by September 13th.

November 20th - The Rusty Ball
Tickets for the Rusty Ball, featuring a concert by the Rusty Griswolds, will be on sale in September. Check out www.therustyball.com from more info about the event. When you buy your ticket, pick CTRH as the beneficiary and we will get a portion of the ticket price. It's a great party for a great cause.

Keller Williams RED Day at CTRH

Almost 30 Keller Williams employees participated in the 2010 KW Red Day by volunteering at CTRH. They painted gates, repaired fencelines, and improved our trail by putting down wood chips. River Downs 2010

Our annual ride in the Winner's Circle at River Downs is Saturday, May 8th. We start riding at 10:50 and we would love for you to join us. CTRH Stampede

Thank you to all the members of the CTRH Stampede. We lucked out with Mother Nature on Saturday as we took part in the Hope & Possibility 5K through the streets of Cincinnati. Sunday was a little soggier as our team members completed the Relay and Half Marathon. The CTRH Stampede raised over $17,000 this year to help support programming at CTRH. Congratulations Team Stampede and thank you!!!

The first CTRH newsletter of 2010 is out and full of information about CTRH. It's our 25th anniversary and we are so proud of all that we have accomplished.

The horses really enjoyed their week off, but they are ready to get back into the swing of things. Session three starts on May 3rd and runs 7 weeks. Session four is also 7 weeks long and starts July 6th.

New Paperwork is Out

Hi everyone. The paperwork for Sessions 3 and 4 is out and should be arriving any time. Please remember that classes fill quickly, so get those forms filled out and mail them back to CTRH with your payment. For those riders in hippotherapy, we will only offer hippotherapy during Session 3, so it is even more important to get your paperwork back in as quickly as possible to ensure a spot. As always, please feel free to call if you have any questions. Thanks!!!

Springing Forward at CTRH

Spring is in the air as we gear up for the start of Session Two. The paperwork for Sessions 3 and 4 will go out at the end of the month. Remember that classes fill on a first come, first served basis - so get that paperwork back in as soon as you get it. Enjoy this warm weather!

Winter Session at CTRH

Winter classes are in full swing at CTRH thanks to the brand new Hatton Riding Center in the Big Red Barn. We started our first ever winter session this week and we are so happy to have a fully insulated indoor riding facility. For all of you riders and volunteers out there, we are still accepting paperwork for session two which starts in the middle of March.

Don't forget that you can purchase postage stamps with the picture of your favorite CTRH program horse from the Zazzle link at the bottom right of the page. A portion of the sales goes to CTRH.

It's also Flying Pig time at CTRH. To join the Stampede, or to donate to the team, please contact us. Donations can be sent to CTRH or you can donate online from the link on our homepage. Just put Flying Pig (blog) on the memo line. Thanks!!!

Happy 2010 from CTRH. Thank you to all the volunteers, riders, donors, families, and friends who helped make 2009 such a great year for CTRH.

The 2010 paperwork is on its way. Please make sure to completely fill out all the forms and send them back in to CTRH as soon as possible. Thanks to the completion of the Hatton Riding Center in the new Big Red Barn, we will be able to start classes sooner than ever. Our first winter session starts in February, so make sure to get your completed paperwork in so we can sign you up for classes.
